Trade Management System (TMS)

INTRAL’s proprietary Trade Management System (TMS) was specifically designed to efficiently manage our clients’ complete logistics processes and functional requirements.  INTRAL’s TMS maintains all the required information for efficiently managing the logistics and supply chain process including pricing, product and documentation requirements along with other customer-specific information.  Our TMS interfaces directly with our clients’ network with both inbound and outbound EDI file transfer capabilities.

INTRAL understands that global trade is dependent on meeting regulatory, contractual and customer partnership requirements and has customized our TMS to ensure that all our clients’ unique business requirements are securely met.  Our TMS also captures and maintains a comprehensive database which compiles a wide range of transportation, shipment, and financial information that can be used to run multiple reports and KPIs.

Systems Support and Customized Programming

INTRAL understands our clients’ business requirements are constantly evolving and we regularly provide system enhancements in response to different needs.  Our TMS is easy to customize and our IT Department can immediately respond to any system or operational change.  All data processing and software development performed on our clients’ behalf conforms to generally-accepted industry best practices.

Document Production and Management

INTRAL’s TMS currently produces all required documentation for our clients’ import and export transactions. INTRAL has the capability to quickly produce new or revised documents to accommodate issues with regulations (i.e. changes to AES legends), foreign language requirements or other needs.  INTRAL can immediately respond to any document revision request or new documentation requirement by implementing different templates or utilizing an INTRAL-designed format.  New documents are integrated into the TMS, allowing automatic creation with our clients’ data and guaranteeing security and accuracy.  Our ability to facilitate any document requirement instantaneously sets the INTRAL TMS apart from traditional ERP or TMS modules and provides a level of service that surpasses our competitors.

Management Information and Analysis Tools

INTRAL supplies customized management reports and analysis tools that measure individual KPIs for each client.  New reporting tools are frequently added and customized reports can be created based on request.  All information and tools are available online.

Our most widely used reports are:

  • Customer Order Status Report
  • Freight Statistics
  • Past Shipment Report
  • Carrier Performance Report
  • Financial reporting for month/fiscal year end

Scorecard

INTRAL also provides Scorecard functionality to our customers.  The Scorecard is a strategic performance management tool that provides current and historical measurements tailored for each business group within a company.  The Scorecard is a platform for the analysis of important KPIs and other monthly reports that can be utilized for strategic and other business decisions.  Our Scorecard is used by our clients to align their business activities to the vision and strategy of their organization.  It helps them monitor their performance against their strategic goals as well as improving their external and internal communication.
